Macbeth

by William Shakespeare

Macbeth, a decorated and powerful army general coming home from war, is met on the path by three witches. Prophesying his growing success, and eventual taking of the crown, he casts them aside as mad - but once what they told him starts to become true, he dares to dream…

Ambition, destruction and betrayal; we performed this iconic masterpiece in a way like we had never performed before.

The audience were transported straight to the battlefield itself, exposed to the thunder, lightning and rain, on the edge of KINGDOM’s woodland.

They were invited to sit amongst the action itself, this was no time to sit back and watch from a distance.

With a torch in their hand, and no other sources of light, it was be up to them to discover this story.

We were in this together - we were fighting as one.

For one night only, we were all Scotland.
